Yeah I’m convinced there is no actual comfortable sleep options in the mid-late third trimester 🫠

Sleep? what is sleep? 😩

Me 🙋🏻♀️ it's been so bad that my husband ordered me a new type of pregnancy pillow last night. I hate side sleeping 😭 I wake up with excruciating hip pain, flip over, then wake up again with the other hip in horrendous pain and flip again, over and over all night.

No pregnancy pillow here - I was getting by with king size firm pillows to support my leg and an old, flat decorative pillow insert for my bump when needed. I’m up every 1-3hrs to pee and the past two nights have been in pain to where I have to get up early. I’ve googled it and still can’t figure out why I’m hurting or how to resolve it. I’ve been doing all kinds of stretches and exercises for the past few weeks so idk!

THE HIP PAIN! YES! It’s so bad 🥲

What sleep?

I call this the rotisserie sleep style. Lol

Yes. I’m up every 1-4 hours to pee, and flip and sometimes I pick a whole new sleeping surface.
(Couch, bed, chair, spare bedroom…… )
I have two dogs that have become EXTREMELY attached to me since I got pregnant, and they do not help the situation needing to be right on top of me, while I’m sweating and needing to pee and flip lol,

I’m 35 weeks and have never used a pregnancy pillow I tried but I hate not being able to roll bc the pain in the hip I’m on I need to switch and flipping my whole pillow was to much freaking work

omg same!

they make ones you don’t have to flip, they’re the same all the way around! I personally loved mine that was like that when I was pregnant with my first but our cats destroyed it so obviously can’t use it this go round 😵💫

I sleep on a heating pad mainly from back pain

I love it 😂 how much rotisserie we talking here

don’t get me started on the hip pain

I’ve tried without the pillow and it was a nightmare to do, how woman sleep without the pillow is beyond me

I absolutely dread side sleeping it’s the worst thing that is ever done to a pregnant woman

I am convinced on that myself

literaly has me rolling over every 5 minutes and feeling like I’m flopping around like a fish out of water 😭

ikr it’s crazy we should be able to sleep comfortably
