Birth!

I am going to be induced at some point next week (will be 37 weeks on Monday). Just wondering if anyone has some positive vaginal birth stories? I’m starting to get a bit anxious about it, worst fear is having twin 1 naturally and then needing a c section for the other! I know I can’t control what happens 😓x

I had an emergency section with my boys, but I was in hospital with someone who had her girls vaginally. She went into spontaneous labour and things happened quite quickly so she didn’t have time for much pain relief etc and she didn’t complain at all! I thought she was amazing. She had a really positive experience, so it is definitely possible regardless of whether you choose pain relief or not. How exciting that you’ll have your babies soon!

I had my twins on Christmas Day 2023. I was so terrified of having a section and how the birth would go but I had a really positive experience. I was induced at about 9pm on Christmas Eve and by 10:34am my daughter was here and at 10:50am my son was here (breech delivery) and they’re perfect and we’re all absolutely fine and healthy 💛

I had both twins vaginally. Went in at 36+ 6 to be induced. Was 3cm without knowing I was and they popped my waters and both babies were here within 1 hour and 17 minutes. Babies were 17 minutes apart. Baby 1 was head down and baby 2 was transverse but automatically moved head down into the correct position once baby 1 arrived x just gas and air was used as it was very quick. Trust and listen to your body - you can do this. I found it easier than having my single first baby xXx

@Dawn I’ve had my waters broken and just very mild cramping so still very nervous it’s going to be at least c section for 1 but fingers crossed it’s not! X

I had both sets of my twins vaginally. I went in to be induced with my 1st set had drip and waters broke. 1st twin came out, they scanned to check position of 2nd twin tried turning and he came out 24mins after breach. My 2nd set went in with bleeding, waters went and then went on drip to move contractions along, had to keep starting and stopping it due to no theatre being available if I had to have emergency c section. Finally my little man came into the world, they scanned and 10 mins apart from her brother she was here too
