Teething

Hi I’m a first time mam to 5 month old twin girls we are currently starting teething, has anyone got any tips/help or advice for me I feel like nothing is helping her. She won’t settle and as she’s so upset she’s struggling to nap so she’s also getting over tired what isn’t helping.

Baby sleep

Co sleeping & breastfeeding

Do any of you co sleep? Our breastfed boys are up so often and it seems so much easier to co sleep but have only done with one baby at a time when they’ve been unsettled. Advice please?!

What can I do about my husband falling asleep holding the babies? Hes always been a very tired person he doesnt cope without a full nights sleep, weve just had twins. He keeps falling asleep whilst holding one so often and its making me so paranoid and upset.

Evening/post nursery routine

Help!

My twins go to nursery 3 days a week now, starting this week. Previously it was 2 days per week.

I'm finding the evening/post nursery pick up routine so hard and stressful. This is what it looks like:

Me/partner cook dinner pre-5pm so it's ready when they get home 5:30pm - pick up 5:40-5:45 - get home, shoes off, dish up dinner 5:50/5:55 - serve dinner 6:15 - clean up dinner 6:25 - quick bath 6:40 - moisturise, pyjamas on, milk 6:50/6:55 - brush teeth 7pm- take to bed. Settle around 7:20

Everything feels like such a rush and I'm not really used to it. When they went to nursery only 2 days we didn't bath them on those nights and instead bathed them the next day so we never had that rush. I feel like they are so tired and hungry from nursery that our routine isn't helping to create a calming/settling evening for them.

What does everyone else do? I can't imagine how people with multiples do bath after nursery every night of the week (for those who go in FT), but they are often so mucky from nursey that I think a bath is really important.

Twins have just turned 2 YO for reference.

Any tips or advice welcome!
