What can I do about my husband falling asleep holding the babies? Hes always been a very tired person he doesnt cope without a full nights sleep, weve just had twins. He keeps falling asleep whilst holding one so often and its making me so paranoid and upset.

My partner used to do the same! Especially the newborn stage but it started to get better when they went down to 1 or 2 bottles a night as he was getting a bit more sleep and now he wakes up as soon as they make a noise! Sometimes I would just feed them myself because it used to frustrate me, I would use a twin feeding pillow and hold both bottles then wind one and then the other it does become exhausting but it will eventually get easier đ

From about 2 months old but they never settled in their next to me bed so I had to put a baby pod in their beds which helped them sleep longer as they were more comfy! I try and keep the routine of bath, bottle and bed. But remember every baby is different, your doing amazing especially having to deal with a sleepy partner I feel you đ„Č xx

My husband was the same - our twins are 7 months old now and it does get easier! The lack of sleep at the beginning is awful - to make sure either of us got some sleep we would both do a âshiftâ each so the other could get a solid few hours which helped the overall tiredness, but if he was doing a night feed he would usually stand up and walk about to stay away. It does get better I promise âșïž we are down to 1 feed a night!

Me and my partner also did shifts like Katie in the end! He was more of a night owl so he could handle staying up late and doing their feeds whereas I can handle morning feeds so it worked out for us both! X

Yeah mine used to do this, I started just doing every single feed and let him have a whole night sleep so he could look after them awake in the day. How old are they? They drop night feeds fast. Mine went from 8 bottles a day to 7 bottles at week 5 then 6 bottles week 7 and then 5 bottles a day ever since, 9 months old now.
I see your little ones had reflux, mine is still bad. By a good swing chair, I had the maxi cosi cassia chairs and after a feed pop that baby in there and put it on a slow swing for 20 minutes after a feed xx
