Could be for attention or I read somewhere babies screech because they like the sound they are making with there mouth, it might feel nice. Lol. Unpleasant for you but if you don't make a big deal of it and redirect or find something to distract her with see if they still make the sound it could be they are trying to communicate.
My eldest son used to blow raspberries until he could talk, sometimes when my daughter now uses her loud voice I sing to her and she calms down abit, I've taught her how to whisper it's a fun game to play especially when you have a headache or something but it's alot of trial and error and usually once they are older x

most likely she just discovered she can do that and is exploring with her voice lol

Yeah she’s probably just learnt to do it and now will think It’s fun to do it for the next few days 🤣 Just wait until she gets teeth and starts grinding them 🤢

She’s just learning she has a voice and how to use it lol my son is 6 months and still screams sometimes. I speak back to him at home and if we’re in a place where it’s not rly acceptable to scream I shush him a little bit just so he’ll learn but he’s just a baby so nothing too much. If it gets to be too loud I’ll just leave. It’s apart of their development!
