Bassinet to pram seat?
When did you make the change? Nearly 4 months old and naps in her pram, she woke up today and decided to roll over in the bassinet 😂 Is it time to put the chair on? :(( she’s probably more than ready, I however, am not 😭

No, should be at least 6 months when she has very good head control to stop her head flopping and pinching the airway. Bassinet for a couple more months at least :)
I changed mine at 4.5 months as he was very long and didn't fit in the bassinet anymore. The pram seat reclines so he's not really sitting. He's now a very happy chap!
I asked the health visitors and they supported this
Mine was switched her at just over 3 months as she had good head control and was kicking herself around and sliding around unsafely.
We changed when he was 9kg cos that’s the weight limit of the bassinet
When they can sit and hold their head safely. Mine was about 5 months and he was soooo nosey!
We switched at around 4-4.5 months after he started doing the same
I switched it to the normal pram with the straps and he’s totally fine (our pram can be be reclined so he s still on his back if I feel like he s too tired holding his neck)
When they can sit up, i honestly see a new trend of mums with bugaboo prams and no basinet, it scared the hell out of me(but its not my baby).
He swapped at 5 months because he reached the weight limit and was getting too long
Mine moved over at just before 4 months. He had outgrown the length of the bassinet. If they dont have good head control you just keep them reclined in the chair x
I don’t see why people rush to move over to the chair. Unless they have outgrown it physically, i dont see why babies need to be in the pram chair. Basinets are so comfortable for that age.
Lol sorry we are talking about a 4 month old 🤦🏾♀️. They have like 3 years of sitting in the pram chair 😵💫. Dont get the rush.

Nursery settling in period
My LB has been settling into nursery this week and is doing amazing. Only cried once when we re-entered - can't lie I felt a bit betrayed having been on mat leave with him for 11.5 months but I digressed. Anyway for the last two three days he's been waking up 6am instead of 6.30am. Is this normal? Also they only do one nap at nursery at midday. He still has two naps as if he's awake for too long he becomes really fussy and whiny until he goes to sleep so I'm worried how they will transition him to one nap. Also, his nap is just before the time he needs to be nursery each day for settling in between 9.30/10am. Oh and for the first time ever he refused his bedtime bottle last night. Would love to hear your experiences and advice please.

My daughter was a late walker at nearly 20 months but this one is determined to climb, cruise, move at not even 9 months. Any tips on helping him move around safely when I’ve got him and his sister (3) to watch?

I’m so excited and trying to get organised but not sure if I’m rushing. All advice welcome❤️
1. I’m having an elective c section what after care bits were actually helpful? Are the silicone patches worth it when did you start using and what brand is best? Was a peri bottle still necessary for cleaning the downstairs area or not?
2. Maternity bras. What ones would you recommend and also when did you get them I was thinking of getting them pretty soon but also not sure if they’ll fit by the time I need them or did you just size up or waited till closer to the time?
3. When did you start washing baby clothes and packing hospital bag? I pretty much have everything we need already so I could pack now I just don’t know if I should wait. Same with washing babies clothes etc I plan on washing all newborn and 0-3 months initially then bigger sizes closer to when she’ll actually need them but I still have 8 weeks how early did you start washing clothes and organising drawers etc?

I need a bit of solidarity or some tips because I’m TIRED 😂🥴🤪
Baby boy is 4.5 months, 5 months next week and for the past 2-3 weeks we’ve suddenly been waking up every 2 hours through the night. Sometimes he wakes because he wants feeding, other times he just wakes up crying and needs resettling. It’s not gas.
What used to work for my husband doesn’t seem to work anymore either, so most of the time I have to get up, pick him up, cuddle him and sometimes feed him to get him back down. He’ll wake up every 2 hours like clockwork and I’m honestly exhausted.
During the day he’s grand. He’s a regular short napper but he’s happy, smiley, smart and great kid, so I really don’t want to complain because I know these phases pass and I know he’s a blessing. But I am definitely sleep deprived and tired at the moment and I think I just needed to acknowledge that too 😂
Did anyone else have this around 4-5 months? Did it eventually settle on its own? Any tips for getting through it or helping them resettle without needing me every single time? Mostly just looking for solidarity from other tired mums

Sleep regression
Can someone please tell me this gets better 😭😅
My baby was sleeping really well and now his sleep is completely chaotic, he will go to sleep initially but then 3 hours later he’s making noises, crying out etc and then it’s every hour after that!😭 he can fall asleep on his own most of the time so I don’t understand this and what I’m meant to do. He’s 13 weeks old but I’d say the disrupted sleep has been happening for the past 2/3 weeks.
Anyone else? or anyone else been through this and know when it ends/how to help it?
