Does your baby hold thumb in or out of fist?

Been concerned about my babies hands clenched and turned in and arms stiff, I’ve been doing some research and things have come up like cerebral palsy. I have noticed he holds his thumbs in his fists which until now I didn’t know was also a sign. So I just wanted to ask if anyone else’s babies do this with no other concern? (I have booked a GP appt but don’t want to get just write off as paranoid first time mum). I’m crippled with anxiety now so any insight would be helpful, he is 2 months

My baby (8 weeks) started doing this today and so far there’s been no concerns about him. At this stage I think they are just becoming aware of their hands xx

My 2 month old girl holds her thumb in her fists like she’s got someone’s nose. I haven’t felt worried about it. I just thought maybe she has some wind. Hope it all goes well with the GP xx

It can be totally normal at this stage , it’s just the way they were in the womb and it’s got to do with their reflex apparently totally normal up until about 6 months , don’t panic hope the GP goes well 🤞🏽💕
