The only reason that it shouldn't be consumed during pregnancy is because of it's high caffeine count, but it actually has less than a cup of coffee, there's a pregnancy caffeine calculator online you can use to track how much caffeine you can have in a day while pregnant - I'll try to find the link once I finish typing this out. My first pregnancy I had I did everything by the book, never touched a sip of alcohol, wouldn't drink any energy drinks or coffee, had the perfect diet but my little boy ended up being stillborn. After that, I said if I ever fell pregnant again, I would do it my way and not by the book, so with my second, I still drank redbulls (probably 4/5 a week) if I wanted a glass of wine, I'd have a small one, but no more than one or two a week and my diet was definitely not the best 😂 I now have a very healthy 11 month old who is miles ahead of where he should be in his development.

A redbull a day shouldn't be an issue as long as you don't have too many other things which contain caffeine x

@Nadine thank you for your reply. So sorry to hear about your stillborn that must have been awful
Glad you now have a 11 week old baby. That makes me feel better thar your baby is healthy and you had redbulls too. Did you have 4/5 redbulls every week during the pregnancy? and what size can did you have? For me I don't have any other caffine as don't like coffee or tea. However finding it hard to stop the redbull. Isn't it the other ingredients in redbulls that they don't advise during pregnancy? That is reassuring to know that you had them too x

Thank you, it definitely was awful and something that no one should ever have to go through, but I'm glad it was me rather than any of my friends and it's definitely taught me a lot!

Yes my second is super healthy, he's 11 months old 10 months corrected as he was born prematurely (they wouldn't let me go to term due to my stillbirth) but the health visitor said that his development is that of a 13 month old! So he's leaps and bounds ahead somehow!

It was probably most weeks to be honest! I did try to limit it at times, for example on a day when I didn't have to do anything as usually I only have redbull to give me that boost in the morning, but if I didn't need to be anywhere then I tried not to have it! Honestly, I'm not sure about the other ingredients, as far as I know, it's just the caffeine but I will do a quick search and double check xx

So after a quick search, from what I can tell, it's mostly just the caffeine and sugar amount in it as you're supposed to limit your intake of both during pregnancy. They do also mention the other ingredients but all they say about it is they've not been thoroughly tested on pregnant women which is why they say not to have it just to be on the safe side, but let's be honest, no pregnant woman is going to willingly be experimented on which is also why all medications state to speak to a medical professional before taking during pregnancy but really, the majority of medication is actually safe during pregnancy xx

@Nadine very true can imagine how awful it must of been
Oh wow that's so good that he doing really well
Yeah tbh I'm drinking 4 a week still it's so hard not to have any though
I do feel so bad having it but that is reassuring that you still had a couple a week during your pregnancy
Yeah that's true I've read also that there is not much research on it xx
