MCDA Twins

As an only child, when I was younger I used to say “I really want twins!”… 20 years later the universe said “okay girl!”

I am freaking out a little because of the risks associated! Anyone had this type of pregnancy before? What did you do (if anything) to help the situation?

(Would also love to avoid a c section if possible🥺)

Congratulations! I assume you mean MCDA twins as nothing comes up in Google for MCDC.
If MCDA, then I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant with the same ☺️
In terms of what I've done to help, there's not much apart from be kind to yourself and rest if you need it. It's much harder on your body than a single pregnancy (it's my first but my friend has just had twins after a singleton and said she was shocked by how much harder it was).
And get some oil to rub on your tummy, it doesn't just help reduce the impact of stretch marks, but it also really soothes an itchy bump from all the growing and skin stretching. I'm currently using it 3 times a day for relief as it feels like they're going through a growth spurt!
The other thing I'd advise is not to do too much unnecessary googling of symptoms or potential risks, it really doesn't help xx

I did mean MCDA 😅 thank you for the advice though I really appreciate it! I’m not really one to take it easy but glad I’ve found out why my pregnancy has been SO exhausting! I think everyone thought I was being dramatic but lo and behold 😂 I’m considering going down to part time at work to give myself and the babies the best chance!

yep I've just gone down to a 4 day week using annual leave, and will go down to a 3 day week in 3 weeks time! Whittling the hours down until I reach mid May when I'll start maternity... exhausting certainly is the word to use! Xx
