Elective c-section

I asked for this and they didnt say anything they said its Okay i can choose what i want, they will just tell me the risks x

Sure, that’s why they offer elective ones 😊. Don’t think they’re allowed to persuade you not to unless something goes against medical advice but they’ll tell you all the pros and cons which can end up sounding like they’re persuading you not to, but they just have to outline the risks really. If it’s what you want, don’t be wavered by their reactions, I think their automatic reaction is to talk through alternative birthing methods with you so they don’t seem they’re encouraging you to follow the elective route x

I had a semi elective - semi emergency (due to serve anxiety) but there was no questions and no trying to persuade they did what was best for me and what I felt was best x

It’s your right to choose how you birth. Anyone that tries to convince you otherwise.. 😡

Mention it as early as you can.
And remind them later on when you need a scan/pre-op etc.

I mentioned having a c section and they have booked me an appointment to discuss further, they were very understanding x
