I had mine booked at 37 weeks but she arrived 4 days ago at 36+4!

I’m finishing a week on Monday. Will be 37+4. Counting down the days… would like to pull mine forward a bit but think I’d prefer the extra bit with her the other side and I’ll just grin and bear the last few days. Working from home so hoping it won’t be too bad…

I wasn’t going on Mat Leave until I was 39w 2d (I WFH so was holding on!) but my energy has just been zapped so I’ve bought it forward a week, I’ll now finish when I’m 38w 2d instead and I cannot bloody wait! 🩷

I’m a primary school teacher, I originally had mine booked in for week 37 but brought it forward to week 36, also have a breech baby and looking likely I’ll be section at 39 weeks. I’m absolutely exhausted and really just want to put my feet up now. I feel much more relieved knowing I finish on Tuesday.

I’d say if you can afford to take some time for yourself beforehand - do it! I know it might mean a week or so less with baby but you may be grateful of some ‘me’ time beforehand x

I'm booked to finish at 37+6 days (13 more work days to go!). Can't come fast enough and I've had a fairly breezy pregnancy. I'm just desperate to get done and focus on nesting. Finish early if you can!! My replacement doesn't start til the week I go off 😭.

I finished work officially yesterday at 37+5. That last week I didn’t really do much but glad to have waited as long as I could- 38 weeks tomorrow

My last shift was the 7th of March and I was 35 weeks. However I’m using 4 weeks annual leave rather than maternity as my annual leave renews when I go back. My annual leave is January-December! I’m high risk, had complications and I’m on my feet all day at work! I think it’s all down to you as an individual and how you are coping. Only do what you can do and if you need to go off, go off. Yourself and baby are the priority! Xx

I’ll be finishing 36+5, which is this coming Friday x

I was going to finish at 37 + 2 but brought it forward to 36 + 2 and so glad I did! Definitely bring it forward if you feel you need some rest x

I’m using around 3 weeks annual leave to start at 36+1 with mat leave officially starting at 39+5. I finish on Thursday and I cannot wait. I’m so so drained and uncomfortable now.
