Early Scan Disappointment?

Yes, according to my last period I should be over 10 weeks but am actually 8+3, I just ovulated about 17 days later than average. Was similar with my first too.

Yes, when i went for a scan I was supposed to be 9 weeks 6 days, ended up being 6 weeks 6 days only

I had this. I thought I was 7w 5 days but the scan shown just the gestational sack. They think I'm 4 weeks. Which would put conception at the right time for me. Going back in 2 weeks.

it’s just the not knowing and being desperate just to see that little heartbeat. Here’s hoping time flies until both of our next scans 🤞🏼👶🏼

I had this!! I was terrified but I went back two weeks ago and saw a little baby and a little heart beat!

@Jess I'm terrified it could be a blighted ovum. How did you get through the wait time for the re scan? How far did you think you were? According to dates I would of conceived about 4 weeks ago so the timing looks pretty spot on for it. So fingers are crossed

oh amazing!! I’m hoping for the same, the did say everything else seemed normal like my ovaries and no free fluid etc so another week or so and hopefully heartbeat can be seen 🤞🏼👶🏼

@Katie and Incognito, ok so I thought I was nearly 7 weeks and I went to my scan and she said she could see fluid and my ovarie was swollen so she thought it was ectopic and she asked me to go back a week later so I did and there was just a sac and nothing else and then got me back two weeks after and there was a baby and a heartbeat the thing that got me through waiting was how sick I was to be honest I just knew it was a good sign my boobs hurt and I was so nauseated! But I’m even worried now because I’ve had a bit of pain and this was three weeks ago! The whole pregnancy experience Is just so anxiety inducing isn’t it! But I hope everything’s perfect for you twos babies! So basically as well I had long period cycles so even tho my first day of my last period was Boxing Day I’m only 9 weeks now because they said I implanted late so I was a couple weeks behind because my period cycle was 34 days not the usual 28 days

Also when I was 7 weeks I saw what you saw on your scan pic above and panicked so much but everything was ok the week after x

@Jess thank you 😊 it so anxiety inducing, no one talks about the anxiety and feelings like your losing your mind 🤣 I still have a strong sense of smell & have been gagging a lot 🤣 its so hard when you don't have the perfect 28 day cycle & have a longer or shorter cycle.

I’m the same, I’ve got such bad fatigue and feel really nauseous at most foods (mainly any hot food or too spiced, I just need cold and plain 🤣)
I must’ve just ovulated later than my app thought I would’ve for the week difference in dates 🤯
