38 weeks. RM. Can I ask for a induction?
Hi ladies,
Came in to triage for reduced movements. Baby seems fine and met criteria on CTG monitoring. Blood pressure fine. However protein and something else in my urine. So they did bloods for preclampsia and want to give me antibiotics for the infection.
Did an internal check and cervix is completely closed.
Although CTG monitoring was fine. Still not happy with the lack/reduced movements and just stressing and over thinking so much.
I wonder, can I ask for an induction at this point? Or because there’s no medical reason probably not right?

I was in around 9 times for RM over a few weeks in my previous pregnancy and they wouldn't induce me until my due date, just regular monitoring. Not sure if this is your first but I definitely wouldn't jump to induction, it's not fun and has its risks x
