Baby position at 36 weeks ?

my baby had been head down the whole time but im pretty sure she’s facing my right side bc her feet are always over there and i can usually feel her butt on my left

I don’t think there is such a thing as giving birth naturally without pain. It’s inevitable lol.

My son was born at 36 and 6, and was head down, and sunny side during most of my labor, so that caused me to have back labor for about 90 minutes or so. He flipped on his own and was delivered in the “proper” position…not sure what it’s called. I went without pain medicine. It sucked, especially back labor, but it was doable. And contractions hurt way more than pushing for me. That was my experience, but the contractions really sucked. Pushing provided relief.

I know it’s all painful for sure!!! What I mean is fácing forward babys is just not so common thing, and if labor start without the baby turning the other way it can cause more tearing and labor is harder because of the head position.

It’s the back labor that actually helps them get into position, so try to lean into it! Your body knows what to do, and most of the time, it’s successful. And if you do decide to go without pain medicine, tearing is typically less severe, and you’re less likely to need an episiotomy. The more of those sensations you can feel, the easier it is to understand what you need to do.

My boy has been head down. But a couple weeks ago at 33 weeks he was head down and facing my back.

90% of the time labor will make baby turn face down before going through the birth canal if they don’t turn before then

I am 37 weeks and baby is transverse still so I will be in labor and delivery to have a ECV on monday 🙏🙏🤞❤️ so may have baby boy if they accidentally break my water or if I have to have a c section anyway

My son was delivered head down facing forward and got stuck behind my pubic bone 🥲 I was pushing for 3 1/2 hours and the dr ended up using the vacuum to assist him out. I felt most of the pain in my butt because my contractions were pushing him towards my butt vs up out the vagina. But his head wasn’t shaped funny, I only needed 1 stitch, and well I had an epidural so while it def still hurt I’m sure without the meds it would’ve been 100x worse lol but you still have time! Look up videos on YouTube of stretches/positions to get baby into the proper position

Last I checked my son went from living on my cervix to living on my bladder idk where he is now until Tuesday but I’ll tell you he’s annoyed the hell out of me being on my bladder
