I saw a post a few days ago with a bunch of mommas saying their babies already had 16 teeth and were possibly already getting their second molars and I can’t stop thinking about it and now I’m starting to worry cause my son only has 12 (13 if you count the one canine that just broke through) and I just wanted to see if anyone else’s 20 month old is still waiting on their canines

O do not worry about teeth! They will come in when they're ready! Those of us with toddlers who have 14+ teeth are not what I would consider "lucky" 😂🫠
I think the only time you have to worry about teeth is if they look like they're coming in incorrectly or bulging or something like that. I'm pretty sure there's nothing you can do if they just aren't coming in yet 😉

I know I’m just overthinking but I just had my second a little less than 6 weeks ago and I’m struggling with ppa and it’s spilling over to this baby too 😅 I’m so stressed all the time about all the things

Try not to stress too much. My boys are 11.5 months apart and my 20 month old already had 2 teeth by 8 months and was crawling and climbing out of his sit me up but my 8 month old isn't doing any of that quite yet. They really are all different. You will drive yourself crazy if you compare them too closely to each other or other kids.

mine has 11. 1st molars, 4 on top & 3 on bottom. dentist said if he doesn’t get that 4th bottom tooth by the age of 2 he may just not get it 😅

My 20 month old has 12 right now. No canines yet. I figure they’ll come in when they’re ready. Luckily she’s a huge fan of brushing her teeth so I don’t have to fight her on it. It’s funny looking at my son’s gums like oh right that’s what she used to be like. He’ll be six weeks on the 21st.

My baby has had 16 teeth for several months now. Not looking forward to second molars the first ones were pretty brutal.

My daughter is 17 months old and just got her lower 2 central incisors. She’s got 4 on top and those 2 in the bottom. I used to worry when she was 12 months and didn’t have any teeth yet compared to 10 months old babies with 8-9 teeth already. But eventually she started having her ones and I stopped bothering about when and let it go with the flow :)

My baby is 18 months she has 4 at the top and 4 at the bottom the canine is peeking at the top.

I was getting worried that my son had too many at 16 teeth already 😭 everyone kept telling me that’s too quick and his teeth will be crowded but it’s all bs everyone develops on their own schedule

My girl is almost 21 months and also has only 12. She has one canine (upper right) coming in just barely. But definitely not enough to be considered a full tooth yet. The dentist said this is perfectly fine and normal. Exactly what they’re looking for at this age

My son still doesn't have either of his top canine teeth. I can see them there pushing against his gums. They just haven't broken through yet.

My 20 month old son only has 2 teeth!!!!!!!!!!!!! His dentist said not to worry about it 😳, so imagine how I feel. My 21.5 month old nephew only has 8 teeth.
