9 weeks.... help!

Did u try on to put him on his belly ? My princes likes on her belly

I have this issue she’s 8 weeks on Tuesday and she still scream or sometimes it’s impossible to get wind up even after trying for so long x

Same here, 9 weeks old and since around 8 weeks doing meltdowns when trying to burp. Have to burp often during feeds because of reflux 🙈

Have you tried anything to help with trapped gas? It sounds mad but sometimes if a baby is very gassy then it's uncomfortable for them to be burped, particularly on your shoulder as it puts pressure on their belly. My little girl went through a phase of screaming when we tried to burp her and was inconsolable, we started using infacol for trapped gas and she's a lot better now. Still cries at first but then burps/parts quite quickly and calms down right after x

I agree it sounds as if your little one has trapped wind. My 6 week old boy also suffers with this and is a colic baby. We give him Infacol and Gavison before feeds and this seems to help! When he is struggling more, we give him warm baths, and I always do daily baby massages, focusing on his back and stomach - this is a game changer! Xx

My paediatrician discouraged me from using this position! He thinks simply cradling baby in arms is closer to what breastfeeding looks like and it’s more natural for them to take the bottle that way/less air is ingested! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Whatever works I suppose! Babies are so different from one another…

I've been giving him dentinox after his feeds for his constipation seems to have worked some are mushy some are soft logs. But at the minute it's just burping thanks girls I'll try anything at this point x
