CCS processing time

Call the complaints line and tell them. They will process it straight away and because you’ve paid full price for 2 months, you’ll be in a good amount of credit!

I applied for my son at the start of the year as he is attending ASC this year and it took less than a week 🤷‍♀️

I applied in January and called the complaints line last week. They processed it while I was on the phone. It took less than a minute!

I applied in Jan and was processed 2 weeks later!

Was on the same boat if waiting without action. It was sorted the same day I called them for an update.

We are also on the same list.. it's been more than two months and it's still in the process status.. I visited centrelink office on Friday and they asked me to wait that's it..

Really weird. Applied a month ago. Claim processed and finalized the other week. Same with PPL. Had you ever used Centrelink online claims before? Seems usually people have info missing or not fully correct information entered

mat leave in november and only just had it processed this week and could never ever get through on the phone or complaints line absolute nightmare!

There has been a massive backlog of claims, particularly in relation to PPL but also others like CCS related. I think it's getting better in recent week. I applied for CCS and PPL at the same time on 30 October 2023 and it took 4 months. Definitely ring the complaints line to expedite your claim. You will get the money you overpaid back when the CCS payment balancing will happen following this financial year.

I applied early December and had everything finalised a week or two ago.
