- don’t give up unless you’re absolutely ready. it can be challenging but it’s so rewarding at the same time.
- it’s based on supply & demand. the more you pump/feed, the more you’ll continue to make.
- be kind to yourself bc your life is lived in 2-4hr increments and it’s a big adjustment!
-also learn what works for you to keep your supply up.
- don’t compare yourself to what you see online. pumping a few ounces at a time is totally normal. you don’t need a freezer stash unless you absolutely want to have one

oh and ofc, take care of your nipples! lanolin is amazing to keep them moisturized

Amazing job mama, but definitely introduce foods before 8months. Last thing you wanna do is have a kiddo who is texture sensitive or just denies eating because they only want breast milk. I had a friend who's kiddo barely ate food, breastfeed till 1 1/2, and became under weight. He is still a little skinny, picky eater, but is the sweetest smartest little boy and I love him 💖
I plan on weaning, and pumping when they are ready. I'll probably be using breast milk for cereal and just drinking in general till they are 1-2 just depends on how much my body is able to produce.
Keep up the great work mama!💖

Just keep going!!! I’m a week away from 6 months of ebf twins! My boobs get msybe 30 min breaks from feeding or pumping lol it’s so much work but I love it and my goal is 2 years. A lot of people tell me to go formula, or add cereals, or stop at night etc but I absolutely refuse. I’ll start giving food closer to 7 months but remember food before one is just for fun

I’m an under supplier and started pumping less and less due to my mental health I’m goal is to make it to 6 months which will be in two weeks but will still keep pumping at least twice a day. I’m not ready to fully give up but at a point where I can’t give it my full commitment like I used to. No matter how far you make it you’re doing amazing !

Stay hydrated!
Eat lots of protein (in whatever form)
Lanolin nipple cream is amazing!
If you want to increase your supply, pump, but it's not always necessary. My baby doesn't really like bottles, but I pump to relieve pressure and am donating my milk.
My mom grew up on a farm, and kept telling me to eat oats, and vegetables, after awhile I noticed a lot of things she would sugguest reminded me of how the cows are fed on my grandparents farm. It makes sense and works for me (oats, corn masa, vegetables, and water).
But most importantly, don't be hard on yourself, I have a strong belief that is partly mental, if you stress too much, or are worried, it won't help and you won't produce as much.
