Tubes tied or coil post C

Morning.
Did any one opt for tube tying or having contraception fitted straight after their section?
Heard this is an option?
Thanks.

Hi, I’m going to speak to my consultant about having my tubes tied during my c-section. My midwife said it shouldn’t be an issue as it’s my third baby and third c-section

I was offered it, although I’m only 26 I was adamant the whole way through my pregnancy I will never have any more (I had twins) so they did offer this to me I was also offered the coil but I’ve never got on with it.

Thanks both.

Thank you.
I think I’m swaying to the coil - but not sure if this can be placed post section 🤔

Just be sure first sweetie as having your tubes done means you are definitely done having children, I’m early 30’s with 2 boys and that is enough for me so it was the right decision x

yes that’s why I think the coil
Is the best option for me 😊
Will ask the Dr / MW if this able to be placed post section 😉
