Labour... possibly... possibly not?
I completely missed early labour with my first as my waters broken and I was straight into active labour. I have no idea what to expect and if I'm honest it's driving somewhat mad.
I've had braxton hicks for months now and at time this have been as consistent as you would expect in labour so I doubt every tightening!
However...today feels different...
It isn't 'painful' but then my pain threshold is high (I delivered my first with no pain relief and have no recollection of pain during labour)
I am however very uncomfortable... my lower back and thighs and supper achy noticably more during s tightenkng... the pressure in my nunny is a lot and I just feel so restless!
We have limited family near by so sorting childcare needs to be done in a timely manner ... I also think I've started losing my mucus plus... this labour malarkey is a complex mind f*** ...

Following! My first was the exact same as yours (mucus plug went, waters broke 10 mins later then straight into contractions). This time, however is a different story. My plug went the night before last and I've had NOTHING else other than the aches and pains you've described. Just want it to be over and done with!!
I’ve been having what I thought maybe the start of labour for a week. In the last 24 hours my pelvic pain and lower pains in my abdomen are just awful, they are not contractions but constant pain. It’s my first and I just feel like I have no idea if it’s imminent or I can be like this for another week 😣 my due date is tomorrow
@Hannah its exhausting isn't it! Constant second guessing!
I have a sweep at 9am tomorrow! Hoping things get moving in the night!
