I’m so overwhelmed with life I can’t even imagine going back to work at 6 weeks with an infant

I’m already emotionally and financially drowning how could I handle more???? I feel so selfish for having this baby. Everything changed shortly after finding out we’re pregnant and I can’t handle anything

A new job, new city, less money. No family or support around. And we’re throwing a baby into the mix? We can’t make ends meet

I understand this feeling, when i had my first in December 2019 i returned to work at 8 weeks postpartum and it was super difficult i was an emotional wreck and child care was draining through our savings. Then the pandemic hit and i was the first to be let go from my job only 1 month after returning to work, i was the primary income at this point. It was a terrifying time to have a newborn and suddenly be down to one income. Ultimately my husband had to switch careers and get into a field with better pay scales and benefits so we could survive. We managed to make it work though and ive been a stay at home mom since, this baby will be our third. We live away from family and dont have much support here so i know that feeling of being alone and scared for whats coming all too well. I hope a solution comes along and can change things up for you guys. Im a firm believer that a baby never has perfect timing we just make the timing work for us and do the best we can with what we’re handed.

We have had a lot of life changes too once we found out we were pregnant with baby #2. I got to take a year off with my first and have to go back right away with the second. Im heartbroken and can totally relate. I just keep telling myself things will workout how they are supposed to somehow. You got this 🫶🏼
