Is this possible?
Long story short my coil fell out. I had my period then 3 days later I had a new coil fitted. The day after my coil was fitted I had unprotected sex. My period started today, at least I think it’s my period. but I had a huge clot of tissue. I inspected it because I was so shocked and it literally was the size of a Cadbury mini egg ball, or larger than a two pound coin. I took a test to check if maybe I’ve been pregnant? Thoughts?

ah, it’s hard to tell but if it looks positive then I think it’s a miscarriage I’m having instead of a period
yes, but the huge clot I passed it was so unusual I wasn’t sure if it’s my period as I’ve never experienced anything like it and because my coil fell out I just don’t know wtf had happened 🤔
Looks positive - I would call dr tomorrow for internal scan x
Bleeding could be from reinsertion. I’d definitely wait maybe a few more days and call your OB ASAP. I see it too
That happened to me when I took out my Nuva ring in my 20s. I got it into a plastic bag using gloves and took it to the lab. They tested it and sure enough it was basically my entire uterus lining shedding. This means, my extreme cramping was due to a period’s worth of work all in a day! It’s possible this happened to you as well but who knows? I’ve never had a miscarriage so I don’t know much about the experience besides what friends have shared with me.
