Due to financial reasons we’re selling our home and going to rent somewhere
Issue is ours has only just gone up for sale but we’ve seen somewhere we really want to rent and don’t want to miss out on it 😫 we can’t afford rent and a mortgage for a bit. Will landlords wait for you to sell your home before renting their property if you pay deposits etc?

I doubt they will wait. They would lose out on 3 months rent minimum if you sell quickly and everything goes smoothly with the sale. However You could always ask x
I doubt it as they need to pay their own mortgage. Plus even if you had an offer it could be months before you move. Both times we’ve sold it’s gone longer than it should have done.
