Alright I need some help. Google won’t do me any good… I’m having lower abdominal pain on my left side that only hurts when I move or try to walk. Like I can’t even stand up straight without wanting to hit my knees because it’s so sharp and painful. I didn’t experience this with my first pregnancy at all so I’m a little concerned/confused. If I lean to the right when I’m sitting on the couch after a few minutes I can get the pain to stop but if I move AT ALL it comes right back. What the hell is it and why won’t it stop? Should I go to be seen?

Sounds like PGP. Might google it and see if the rest of the symptoms match up. I think I have it too 😣

I would call the nurse line. Are perhaps constipated? I get pain there, not that severe, and my doctor said it might be due to being backed up.

I WISH I was constipated 😂 at least it would have an explanation for the pain lmfao 🤣 those are words I’d never thought I’d say. I’ve have regular bowel movements no issue thankfully

I’m about to google that right now!

I do have that ☹️ I didn’t know this could be apart of that though. My SPD started in January 🙃 fml

i would get it when i strained my body too much. i just assumed it was round ligament pain from moving and stretching

I think mine started sometime in February! I saw posts on here about other women doing fun things well into 37 weeks and I’m over here in so much pain waddling at a turtles pace in the grocery 😓 my fiancé just thinks I’m being dramatic

Gallbladder

my husband gets the same way and it’s just getting worse by the day 🙃 we have a 16 month old wild child toddler who doesn’t understand he can’t jump on mommy like he does anymore because it puts me into tears. It’s not been fun

Yep sounds like PGP. I’ve got that too, I started yesterday doing exercises from YouTube videos and sleeping on my right side with a pillow folded in half helped last night get a semi decent sleep.

what was the video name? I’m desperate for relief

I’m experiencing the same thing, I’m going to the obgyn tomorrow so I have to bring it up

I’ve been switching offices so I haven’t been seen in about a month (I’m 35w+3) but FINALLY have another appointment Wednesday and I seriously can’t wait so they can hopefully help me out

Goodluck! I switched offices at 33 weeks because I wasn’t connecting with the midwife and I’m so much happier. I hope this works out better for you and I hope they find you some relief! 🩷

thank you! I finally got brave enough after my original OB told me even if I went into spontaneous labor that they wouldn’t let me try for a VBAC 🙃 soo F that I found a new office. I’d like to at least TRY for a vbac not be unwillingly forcing into a csection 😵💫

mine refused doing a C-section when that’s what I wanted (and now need anyways), and also talked crap about my mother (who is my support person) at the appointments she didn’t come to, so I had enough of that.

I am so sorry you had to deal with that. I would be FURIOUS. How unprofessional of them ☹️

thank you! I’m much better here, they saw my ultrasound and scheduled me a C-section for end of march! I hope you can get the vbac 🙏🙏

fingers crossed 🤞!! Good luck mamas!

good luck to you too!

I found it really helped. And the pillow between your legs at night and sleeping on the most comfortable side. So my right side is better then left.
