Summer baby clothes and swaddles

We used 0.5 tog sleeping bags for our July 22 baby will do the same this time!

I'm getting swaddles for summer then sleeping bags for winter, I've read that just a vest under the swaddle is enough during summer

Thank you I only see stuff for winter babies online!

what would they wear under this? X

we did short sleeved vest and babygrow or just a vest (long sleeved) on hotter days!

Depends on the temp of the room babe will be in. My girl bounced between just a nappy, nappy and vest, nappy, vest and 0.5/1 tog sleep sack. She also hated being swaddled so only ever bought one x

Just noticed the above says hat for under 16. I'm sure UK guidance is NO hats inside at all so find a trustworthy chart xx

I’ve got 0.5 and 1 tog sleeping bags for our little one. But the ones with the poppers on the arms so when he is little he will have his arms in so it’s like a swaddle and he feels all safe, then can un pop them when he starts to move around more and wants his arms out 🥰
