Cold and flu

I’ve got such a terrible cold and sore throat at the moment but I cannot remember from my last pregnancy what is safe to take and what to avoid? My friend was told to avoid soothers which I could really do with right now?🤣

Do you know why your friend was told to avoid soothers? They’re what I’ve been using atm

I have no idea they just said because she was pregnant she couldn’t have them. I had them with my little boy and was never told anything different so I was very confused why they would say that as I can’t see anything that says no x
