How did labour stsrt?

With my daughter, I woke up in the morning and had blood. Then throughout the day pains that got worse. I suffered for weeks with lightening crotch and back ache. My waters had to be broken while I was in labour.

I had a friend who went out for a curry and her waters broke at the restaurant. Her son wasn’t even due!

Crazy how different it is for everyone xx

With my first, I had no signs until the day. Lost mucus plug at 2pm (although honestly wasn’t that obvious) then waters broke at around 10pm that night and got period like cramps straight after x

No symptoms at all until my waters went & then contractions followed shortly after

With my first I had no pre signs at all until my waters broke in the middle of the night. A couple of hours later my contractions started.

No signs at all, woke up in the middle of night (about 1:30am) with contractions. Lost my mucus plus later that morning.
Had my waters broken by midwife at 8cm to help get over the final hurdle and be able to start pushing.

My waters suddenly broke on Friday evening and then I gave birth Saturday morning 😂 no real warning at all!

With my first, I lost my mucus plug at 8am then felt period-like pains at 10pm same day, my waters broke with the period-like pains, then the contractions ramped up very quickly. My son was born 16 hours later x

I had a sweep at 4.30pm said I was 2cm but no other signs of labour, I was 41wks. At around 7pm I began having period type pains and blood, lots of pressure and feel of needing to wee. I was at a family party, I was driving to and from also. By 10pm I was 8cm, got to hospital, my daughter was born at 3.30am... I was in denial I was in labour at the pain wasn't that intense until around midnight x
