Meltdown over nail cutting ðŸ˜
Never used to be an issue but our 3 year old is now refusing to have her nails cut. We’ve always used clippers and had no issue but she’s now worried it will hurt. We’ve given her the option of nail scissors instead but we’re met with the same reaction. Incentives don’t work and we’ve tried distracting her with the iPad but no luck. Any ideas what to try next? They’re getting long and grubby and desperately need trimming!

What about filing? It’s annoying but I got away with that for a while!
My 3 year old hates having his nails done too- but he loves numbers so counting down how many were left works for him eventually- we have to go through the resistance every time still though 😂 god knows what people would think we are doing to him!
have you tried filing them instead of cutting them?
