Is it possible to put 3 month old on feeding schedule

I’m sick of no routine. They’re not newborn anymore. Does everyone still feed completely on demand or a bit more structured?

I follow the eat-play-sleep cycle since you can’t really put 3 months old on a schedule! If my baby is hungrier or wants to cluster feed I still let him but I find the eat-play-sleep makes things more predictable at least for the most part 🤣

My baby naps every hour after getting up and feeds every 4hrs. That's the routine I've got lol x

Not really! My baby eats every 3 hours ISH. But sometimes its 2-2.5 hours later or sometimes 4 hours. They are humans like us and we get hungry at different times too, especially if they sleep at different times each day

No routine really! I just change her nappy and make her a bottle when she wakes, then play, then she sleeps again! I offer her the bottle throughout her awake time (up to an hour obviously) as she’s not a hungry baby so she grazes. Her feeding times vary depending on how long she’s slept for really x

My baby feeds every 2 hours and her wake window is hour and an half. So this is from whatever time she wakes up in the morning 😆

I think you can have a routine but probably not beneficial to have a schedule because different phases of growth and other factors like sickness, travel etc can all affect a baby's feeding pattern. I have a routine of feeding after waking up from a sleep, and before a sleep. The waking feed is bright and stimulating, and the nap or bedtime feed is dark, quiet, and with her rain noise on xx

I’d worry if you did a strict schedule that baby would be hungry for prolonged periods of time. Rather just feed on demand then they’re happy and getting all the milk they need 😊 some days they want more some less, just like adults x
