Any advice please , I'm currently 34 + 1 ive had MS Since i was 28 , I'm now 32, I would have been on treatment but I fell pregnant which of course I'm happy about...I suffer daily with symptoms , from muscle weakness and back problems to tremors sometimes. Stress is also a big factor of my MS. I also have proctitis of the rectum up to the sigmoid area , I'm in remission at the moment with that but there are also risk to it regards inflammation etc. I'm asking my consultant if I can have c section , as I feel this would be the best way for me, but I just feel the consultants aren't understanding my reasoning.
Has anyone in here opted for planned c section due to their MS? And how were the consultants/midwifes?

Hi, I had a normal birth and then relapsed not long after but that’s a risk regardless of delivery but if you think a section would be better for you, can you ask your consultant to talk to your MS consultant? I found that there was a massive lack of understanding regarding my MS so intervention from your specialist may be enough x
