Random family story
So I’m pregnant with my second and it’s seems my sister in laws and I like making our family broke 😂 with my first one sister in law and I were due three weeks apart. Three weeks turned into 24hrs and 13 minutes after l&d lied to her and told her her water hadn’t broken. She went to her routine ob appointment the next day and they sent her to be induced because it had. Well this time my other sister in law and I are pregnant together. She is due 9/26 I’m due somewhere between 10/26 and 10/31. I was telling my mil I didn’t want to have my child on Halloween because it’s my fil’s birthday (no bad blood or anything) because October has a lot of birthdays and she said “I hope she comes when she wants and since it’s your second expect up to three weeks early” I was like um please no we don’t need two in September. But before I knew I was pregnant I had a dream about two children being born in September. Tbh Im freaking out now because I am scheduling an induction so that I have someone to watch my oldest so I don’t have to give birth alone but now I’m super scared I’m going to and there is no way around not being alone because all of mine and my husbands family is 10 hours away minimum.

That's what midwives and/or doulas are for. I had to give birth with no family but I still had some awesome ladies with me the whole time I was laboring.
I know I truly wouldn’t be along I just don’t want my husband to miss this experience and not be able to cut the umbilical cord
I feel that. It does get nerve racking as the date approaches.
Is there a chance you could ask a friend or hire someone like a nanny to be on call around the time of delivery to assist with taking care of your oldest?
