So my husband’s parents call him nonstop I swear it’s at minimum 5+ each.. )we live 10 hours away from them) with literally nothing to talk about watching a movie mil will call twice “just see what you are doing” the same damn thing we were doing an hour ago. She will literally be eating loud af on FaceTime. So my side ( we live 19 hours away) really small talk on the phone once a day but we don’t talk to other family members. So we chose to do a registry since we are so far away well mil says we’re doing a virtual one with them didn’t ask how to get my mom and dad on there. Sil and mil upset about what I put on the registry that it didn’t match the theme of my sons nursery, I put stuff on there that if I had to buy it like a four pack of crib sheets it was worth the money. I miscarried my first baby so when I got pregnant I told my family but we didn’t tell his until 9 weeks every phone call when are you going to announce people need to know, same thing with the gender. Well I had a c section my family couldn’t come out because my dad had surgery, mil told us not asked told us what dates they would be out here. So our downstairs is open big open plan, I had to go upstairs every time my son needed to eat. They came in left so much stuff in the entry way all road snack and other shit filled the counter (we have a pantry) cups everywhere coffee cups everywhere I couldn’t find my purse. I would get done feeding him pass him off since no one else would clean while my husband made food or worked on the house. Don’t not plan a meal mil will bug and get upset if she doesn’t know what we are eating 2 hours before if she orders just forget about anything else that’s going on because it’ll get interrupted.(never miss a meal)
