It takes time for your hormones to adjust back to normal and your body to heal!

They say 2 years ♥️

Hey lovely, I felt exactly the same at this stage! So I spoke to an online PT and had a plan made and changed some lifestyle habits, the weight then dropped off. If you want any more info do message me, happy to share my experience as I know one doesn't fit all.

The main thing I will say is don't worry too much about the calories and counting as long as you are eating whole foods 😊

Don't be so harsh on yourself, you need more time to lose weight. Count your calories, sometimes we think we are eating less but end up eating unbalanced meals (high in bad fats or sugars). You'll need to be in a calorie deficit to lose weight. For workouts aim to have a mix of high intensity workouts and weight training. Eat the right amount of protein for your body weight when exercising. Stay hydrated.
Check your thyroid levels from the doctor. Some people can't lose weight as easy as others if their metabolism is slowed due to underactive thyroid. Also check glucose and lipid profile. Insulin resistance is a big factor to putting on weight.
With increasing age, we generally require more work to lose weight than if you were ten years younger.
Losing weight should be achieved over a year or two, not in monthly timelines as we all fluctuate weight.

How is your gut health? Sometimes it can be a struggle to lose weight if your gut health is a bit off. Yiu could try taking a pre and probiotic and see if that helps x

I would love to know your secret to lose 4 stone, I’m wanting to lose 1 stone x

no secret just a small calorie deficit (I never starve myself and still have chocolate everyday). Take little one out for an hour walk everyday and go to the gym a few times a week xx

My Fitness Pal is great at tracking calories, whenever I’ve lost weight I’ve used that. You just put in your current measurements and how much you want to lose a week and it calculates how many calories you should have a day

Thanks for the tips, I do already use mfp app and I’m going on the bike every morning for 30 mins (can no longer go to the gym due to partner work pattern and having two children)
I have also taken the baby out in the jogger pram this weekend and did a 4.5 mile run.
My body has always been reluctant to lose weight despite being in a deficit. I sometimes wonder if it’s certain foods that are more difficult for my body to break down.
