Wowsers how is he climbing already 😮 that’s brilliant! any tips please? 😄

honestly all babies are different he's definitely ahead of where my eldest was at this age I wasn't ready🙈😂 i do think giving them freedom helps though, the only time he's contained is when eating or out in the pram/sling when at home he's got the freedom to explore and get up to trouble like this. Being a sibling definitely helps too he's constantly watching and copying his brother who's nearly 4 x

Mine loves to climb!! I'm always behind him because I'm so worried haha but he doesn't fall really ever. I'm hoping my anxiety will ease soon lol

best thing to do is teach them to climb down backwards rather than pick them up. My son gets up there by putting a jigsaw box in his ball pit to help him climb up onto the toy box he's not daft😂 so I've taught him to come down the same way, even if he's whinging because he thinks he's stuck I slowly move his arms and legs backwards then pick him up off the floor. He can do it alone now off the window, couch and we're learning to climb down stairs as he's mastered going up them🙈 x

that's excellent advice thank you! I take him to a soft play with lots of blocks so will practice it there at first for my own sanity haha

Oh yes! My LO is currently spending every day trying to work out how to climb the baby gate, which terrifies me. I feel like I can't complain as i got him an obstacle course and climbing arch for Christmas so kinda my own fault.
