Rash Question

I have taken my son to OOH last night and he said it was probably viral, throat and ears are clear, it’s quite bumpy, but not like sandpaper and it’s everywhere apart from his legs, he seems fine, a bit clingy, but still eating and drinking. I’ve bought e45 and coated him in it and he’s been running about today. He’s been stripped as his temp was 38.5 and I’ve administered 5ml Calpol.

This is the first high temp since finding the rash at 5.30PM yesterday.

My question is, it looks far different from his viral rashes, has anyone seen this as a starting point for like chicken pox, measles etc?

It disappears with pressure (blanching)
