Tummy time at 7 weeks

Anyone else completely neglecting tummy time? I tried today and my boy fell asleep😂 any tips or toys to make him want to hold his head up? Obviously I talk to him but he’s not interested x

Omg glad it’s not just me! He loves it on our chest and also can see him getting stronger.. I remind myself that my parents probably had no idea about it and I rolled over and held my head up fine 😅

I’m finding it hard to find time between feeds + burping!! But I’ll go for once a day soon lol

I just had that exact same thought!!😂 our health visitor is coming on Monday, hopefully she’s not expecting a push up! I read he’s meant to be doing 30 minutes a day…👀

I don’t bother, I feel like so long as you’re playing with them cuddling, putting on chest etc they’ll get there eventually

My HV said it’s no big deal, to just try put her on my chest. We bought a newborn sensory pack off of Amazon with different contrast cards in and my 7week old has loved looking at them from around 2weeks old
