Baby boy peed in his mouth 🥴
Hey everyone! You can probably tell from this post that I’m a first time mum! Was changing baby boy’s nappy. Didn’t cover his willy and he peed all over his face and into his mouth! Reckon he’ll be okay or should I call my midwife team just in case?

Omg that's some aim. My boy hasn't done any fountains yet....tips for preventing this? Jusy covering his winky with baby wipe? That's what I do atm as he keeps peeing all over his baby grows when I change Jim!
we covered with a small washcloth or muslin, we found that covering with wipes didn't really work that well because they aren't absorbent enough and even if they caught some of it, there would still be leaks. Took a bit of time to get it right and our washing machine has been busy. Make sure you point his winky down when you put a nappy on because if it's pointing up it comes out of the top of the nappy. Haven't had any issues with leaks since.
