My Sister Literally Gave Birth Here About 2 Weeks Ago & They Were Very Racist , Treated Her Very Badly , Didnt Help Support Her Through Labor , They Didnt Let A Support Person Be There When She Was Getting Her Epidural , They Treated Not Only Her Like Shit But Her Fiancé , His Mom & My Mom Like Shit . They Was Very Careless With Everything . When She Was Pushing They Didnt Even Show Effort To Supporting Her Legs .( We Are Puerto Rican Btw ) My Mom Had To Keep Stepping In On What They SHOULD Be Doing . We Are Writing Each & Every Person There Up . THEY WAS HORRIBLE . Thank God My Mom Had A Labor Experience Because I Did Give Birth In Dec 2023 . So She Knew What To Expect & Let's Just Say My Hospital Was 10x More Friendly Than Hers .

@Lizzy Are you serious!? I’m so sorry they did this to her! NOBODY should go through this! I already had second thoughts about this place anyways! I’m thinking about choosing Bryn Mawr bc they are rated really high for the Labor & delivery.

Yes , I Really Wished They Treated Her Better & Her Family That Was With Her To Support Her . I Would Really Go Far Away From This Place !! I Wish It Was Better But This Was Bad . Idk If It Was Just Her But Her Experience Was Horrible !

@Lizzy may I ask where you had your baby? Are we allowed to choose the hospital we want? My midwife won’t be assisting anyways bc I’m choosing a c section.

@Erika I delivered at Bryn Mawr and you will not be disappointed. I mean start to finish everything about my experience was perfect. Anything that I needed they handled with care. Me and my labor and deliver nurse were friends by the time I was discharged and exchanged numbers. It’s a special thing to be friends with someone who helped deliver your kid! I have experienced racism at several hospitals in the Philadelphia and Philadelphia suburban areas, including Bryn Mawr to be honest. HOWEVER, the labor and delivery unit was absolutely not and the providers there treat you with so much respect and will honor any crazy request that you have.

The absolute worst place to to I had my some there in 2019 and we both nearly lost our lives all due to hospital/ nurse negligence

I also agree with the racism there, my son was in NICU and there was a nighttime Barb she verbatim said to me you know you can’t breast feed and smoke dope…. Then proceeded to tell my dad false information that when confronted she could not show any proof
