Childcare research

Hey, when looking for childcare for your kid, would you consider a place/minder with ofsted report older than a year? Early 2022/2023? I feel like that’s too long but not sure how often these inspections are done?

It looks like it can be up to 6 years between inspections. That is longer than I have seen for most but you'll probably find it quite common that a nursery hasn't been inspected for more than a year.

As long as the report was ok… that’s quite recent, they don’t inspect regularly unless concerns… similar to schools!

Thank you ladies. Would you go for them though? 😅 my mum instinct is making me think I don’t trust them 💀

You’d be lucky if you found someone with a recent review! Ask around your local area for recommendations… people are pretty honest about things like that!
