I’ve just taken day 8 of my contraceptive pill, I have been pretty bad at remembering to do it at the same time (8am) and have had a few days already that I’ve taken it at 6pm, am I protected against pregnancy yet or should I take it for another week at 6pm every day and just use condoms for now?

You need to use it for a month
Most pills you need to take for 7 days at the same time or atleast within 2-3 hours for it to be working
It is Yasmin pill
To be safe, you usually need at least a week on it at regular intervals for it to be “effective”. But even then, I’ve known too many people whom have gotten pregnant on pills/birth control, so I would suggest condoms as well until you’re ready for the possibility of a child.
