Birth control effects on supply
Does anyone know if norgeston mini pill affects milk supply? I started a week ago and prescription says it doesn’t effect supply but breasts are feeling a lot softer and I only got 4 oz out of pumping session rather than 5oz per breast which I usually get

Came to echo the same^. Was on the mini pill after my first pregnancy and I was certain it affected my supply even though it reportedly should not. No BC this time around (4m PP) and my supply is much better than it was at 4m PP with my first. My husband and I consciously chose barrier methods this time around for the sake of seeing if it did affect my supply, and I’m glad we did!

Hi, it did negatively affect my milk supply even though the prescription and my obgyn said it doesnt. It was a constant struggle. Pumping and taking lactation and magnesium supplements helped but it still wasn't how my supply was before the mini pill.
