We use the tommee tippee progo when we’re out, we’re typically not out any longer than one feed needed whilst out so I currently do the following.
1. Check temp of hot water flask.
2. Pour required hot water amount into cooling flask.
3. Mix required formula with hot water in cooling flask.
4. Pour cooled milk into sterilised bottle
My problem is that once I’ve done this, the cooling flask needs sterilising meaning I can’t use it for another bottle so how do I do multiple bottles, I’ve read about the hotshot but I can’t work out how I mix the hot water and formula to sterilise it as such without making the cooling flask dirty?!?🤦🏽♀️
Can someone explain it to me step by step like above please?😂🤦🏽♀️

I use hot shot method when out, but I use a nuby rapid cool. So I carry with me: nuby rapid cool, flask of boiling water, mini formula pot, baby bottle.
1. I put the required amount of boiling water into baby bottle from flask.
2. I add formula shot to baby bottle and give it a swirl.
3. I put remaining water from flask into the rapid cool wait for it to do its thing and cool it down.
4. Add this cooled down water from nuby into baby bottle.
Its basically replicating the tommee tippee prep machine method. The official nuby method however is to cool down the formula milk in it, but that requires sterilising regular plus youd have to wait a few hours before using again. As I use mine for boiling water, I sterilize my nuby once a week probably
Hope that helps x

If it helps, I have been doing the same logic as the Tommee Tippee prep machine out and about. Just before I leave the house, I get a flask of boiling hot water (my one keeps hot for 12 hours) and then a bottle of cooled boiled water (same water from kettle, but by the time I use, it is cooled).
When making the bottle, I tip the powder into a fresh sterilised bottle and add about half to 1/3 of boiling water from the flask, swirl it, then top up with the cooled boiled water. Example- making 7oz, I'll do 3oz boiling, 5oz cooled. It's immediately ready to give to my baby. I've found this the cheapest and most convenient way out and about and I'm no longer anxious about her screaming for milk anywhere xx

If reading it still confuses you id go to tik tok and watch a few videos!!
Its a game changer i make all my feeds with the hot shot method just with the nuby rapid cool!
Hes on 5oz so i put 150ml water in the bottle pour water into the nuby leaving about 2oz/90ml of hot water in the bottle. I add to formula to this hot water and mix and then cool the water in the rapid cool. Once cool i add to the formula and its good to go! X

so where do you keep your cooled boiled water cos surely that’s in the bottle you’re going to use for the feed or do you take another bottle with just the cooled water in?x

I take another separate bottle for the cooled boiled water.
So essentially I have x1 flask, x1 sterilised bottle with cooled boiled water, and then as many bottles as I want for the day x

exactly what I do and much lighter in your bag than the rapid cool!
