Which baby bouncer to get?!

My siblings are very kindly gifting me a baby bouncer, I know they have plans to get quite a high tech, electric one (swing/rocker style) which I’m super grateful for but I feel like this is going to be inconvenient to move around the house. What if I want to take baby into the bathroom with me while I’m bathing/showering? Am I best just getting a standard, more light weight one? Or any other ideas on what I can use if I need to have baby in the bathroom with me?

Why don’t you let your siblings get an all singing and dancing one for you that you use downstairs, and then you get a cheaper one for upstairs? I’m sure you’ll find something in great condition on facebook marketplace, they use them for such a short time.

I was thinking about this but space is my issue, we have an upstairs but my bedrooms downstairs (family’s rooms are upstairs) so would mean I’d need to keep both downstairs but I could probs make it work

I did the exact same I have the maxi cosi cassia swing downstairs and just a cheap bouncer upstairs that I can easily move around where needed x

The one I had from Smyths folded flat ish (obviously not completely flat, but could push it under a high sofa, or just against a wall) https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/baby/bouncers-swings-and-rockers/baby-bouncers/nested-gravity-baby-bouncer-grey-wood/p/225622

@Nikki-Lee brilliant thank you, yes thinking a foldable one is the route to go down for the second one

I’m looking at the joie sansa 2 in 1 as I want an electric one. It is quite big but you can take the seat off the base to take it upstairs etc with you which I think is handy

I have this downstairs and the seat is detachable so I take it off to bring my little one upstairs with me when I’m showering. The seat has a separate vibration function for when it’s off the swing 😊 https://www.mamasandpapas.com/products/joie-serina-2-in-1-speckled-591802802?utm_term=42777483968677&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwqpSwBhClARIsADlZ_Tmb832GlmQXvXxpXSeQ2Aev0d6awsmlBoqZn-goqRdBuAqcfs4ep6caAhavEALw_wcB

Baby bjorn bouncers fold up really small and are very portable x

I had a high tech one kindly gifted to me and rarely used it mainly because it’s quiet big and hard to move around like you said if I want to take her into the bathroom or kitchen. However I did find she quiet enjoys being in her bath seat around the house lol but it doesn’t have straps so I have to supervise her. I bought a cheap vibrating bouncer with a toy arch that you can take off from Argos for £20 and it’s amazing and she loves it and definetly get a lot more use out of it compared to her other one xx

@Jess just had a look at this one and it looks ideal for what I’m looking for. Thank you x

@Lorren this looks brilliant! Thank you x

https://www.online4baby.com/p/graco-all-ways-soother-2in1-swing-rocker-with-vibration-musical-sounds-stargazer-grey i had a graco all ways swing! it’s electrical & the seat comes off the base as a standard bouncer! super handy & not too expensive either- highly recommend! depending on where you get it from & what model it’s £143-200! xx

I would go with baby biorn. It’s so easy to move around and fold up, comes three different levels. I much prefer this over a big swinging one which your baby may not even like (mine didn’t). It’s also super easy to wash.

We had a mamaroo swing that was gifted to us. That was amazing, one of the best things to keep him chilled while we could have some tea together. He loved the swing for months. We also had just a normal baby bouncy chair with vibration that had different sitting levels, that was easier to move around. I used that one to take upstairs and have him while I showered or in the kitchen while I made tea. We even took it away to the caravan with us.
