We really like the Lovevery boxes and the Tiny Land boxes that go by age. They were baby's favorite. Around 4 months, baby was very into textured books and sensory strands, simple wooden toys, and and high contrast images.
I would say don’t waste money on fancy fandangle toys! My daughter has had them all, all the high sensory ones/interactive ones, and her favourite thing to play with is a waterbottle and silicone spoon to chew on 😂
Our faves are the Manhattan Toy Winkel rattle (dumb name, awesome toy) and the Brights Starts OBall and Oball rattle. But you can also find lots of household items that would be safe for baby to play with/explore with supervision. They don’t need fancy toys, just interaction and exploration.
