Car seat

I got mine in with a travel system so it went onto my pram frame and also came with the isofix base for the car ! I got the panorama xti from smyth toys xx

We’re going for cybex cloud T as it’s the safest infant carrier on the market. They have some good bundle deals depending on the pram you go for. It is a bit overwhelming with all the different ones though, I’ve worked in the industry for years so if you have any questions just lemme know 😊

I don’t have a car (and don’t want one) however I will need one for when we’re in other people’s cars or the odd occasion when I hire one. Are there any that are actually universal? Including internationally?

@Hannah all infant carriers are universal and can be fitted safety with a seat belt. The same doesn’t really apply for combination seats (birth - 4yrs) unless isofix, but then you have to make sure that every car it goes into has isofix points

Had the cybex cloud z2 with my first and it’s been great - one of the most popular from what I’ve seen, definitely safe, had isofix, and connected right onto my pram as well. We’re about to get a second for my now one year old and use the cybex again for the new baby

(Can also attach it with just a seat belt, don’t necessarily need the isofix, but it does make things easy!)

We’ve got the Axkid one2 as it’s 40-125cm. And rearfacing the whole time. Been great for my son. A bit expensive but it’s Swedish plus tested. And I can’t put a price on safety 🥰 there are cheaper ones that are Swedish plus tested too. We also have the Avionaut pixel pro 2 which is the safest carry car seat around :) fits teeny tiny babies too

I got mine cause my kids old ones were in a crash and the insurance gave us a voucher with enough for 3 chairs. My 3 year old and 16 month got Joies and new baby got a cybex cloud T. They was the only chairs with excellent safety ratings that we could fit all 3 in our car. The company ended up sending 2 of the cybex chairs so one got give to my SIL whos due around same time x

Just a heads up to be careful as unless it’s an infant carrier not all seats are suitable from birth despite being advertised as from birth. They often offer a poor fit for newborns, putting them chin to chest or the straps just not sitting were they’re supposed to
