Depends on what the money is going towards

If it is towards needs it not a lot
If ur just going out and tapping ur card or going shopping or whatever then 2k is a lot to just throw away

Debt is relative to your ability to pay it off. If you made a one-off purchase, say, for furniture or something, and can clear the debt fairly easily in the next year or so, then no it’s not a huge amount.

But if you’re likely to add to it in the coming months, say, by putting groceries on there and other monthly expenditure, then yeah, you’re gonna get in trouble real fast.

First you need to consider your interest rate. Is this expensive debt? Could you get a better deal by consolidating it or transferring it elsewhere?

Do you have a plan in place to pay it off? Are you setting money aside each month to pay off the capital and not just the interest?

Do you see yourself taking out more loans in future? If so, are there cheaper options out there (interest free credit, for example).

I pay it off monthly but it's separate payments..do it's ads up to spend £100 a month...I think I should stop talking it out now...it feel like it's gonna take me forever to pay it off.
