Need Some Advice

What makes you think baby is not getting enough? If they are having a good amount of wet and dirty nappies each day and are gaining weight as expected / following their curve in your red book, then they are getting enough. Early on babies can cluster feed and show signs of stimulation such as shouting and banging the breast but this is all a way of stimulation milk production and milk flow during that feed. It’s your choice if you want to combi feed by introducing formula alongside breast feeding but I would encourage you to trust your body to produce exactly what baby needs. Pumping after each feed would be a way of stimulating more milk production but before 6 weeks, when milk is regulated, pumping can result in over supply and mastitis etc. ❤️

I believe he might be cluster feeding but he seems to get tired of it go to sleep for maybe 2 minutes then wakes up crying wanting more I wasn't sure if it would make him feel more content and full

Sounds like cluster feeding which is very normal!

very typical for a baby of that age. Strip him off/ change nappy to wake him up. Or switch to the opposite breast if he falls asleep, keep switching as many times as needed. Do breast compressions to keep milk flowing if he nods off. Is baby gaining weight? Fussy babies often make us worry about our supply but it’s actually really uncommon to have low supply / not produce enough. Keep putting him on as often as possible ❤️

might be worth getting him checked for oral ties too. Tongue tie will make them fall asleep much quicker because they have to work harder and they might not be getting enough during each feed so feeding more often. Both my children had tongue ties, my son is still to have his snipped. I have to express to fully drain my breasts and then I give it to him in a bottle. Just remember how much you pump isn’t any indication on how much milk your producing x
