Why do I feel like my body is rejecting me? My baby doesn’t want to come? Or I’m doing something wrong??? I was due March 25th and here we are now in April. Idk what else to do and I’ve tried everything. I wanted to birth naturally at home but I don’t think that will be an option at this point.
I’m constantly receiving texts about baby being here and it’s making me more frustrated. Like come on… if baby was here you guys would know!!!
Last night, I had was having contractions from 8pm to about 4am and they suddenly stopped. I thought it was time. I thought I was getting ready to meet my little person. Woke up this morning feeling completely normal. 😓
I have an appointment with my midwife tomorrow and I’m interested to see what the next step is to induce labor naturally if there even is a next step. Currently 41+4 and I know we can go up to 42 weeks but be for real… who the heck wants to be pregnant that long???? My back is killing me. I’m exhausted. Can hardly sleep due to being uncomfortable. I’m just over it.

I’m right here with you girl. I was due March 25 and I’m 41 weeks today. Going in for an NST this morning. Induction for Wednesday night if nothing happens by then. Baby seems cozy and there is no sign he is coming before the induction.
Hang in there. We are almost at the finish line! You got this.

I’m in the same situation due date was march 29 and I’m still waiting and feel normal ! My appointment is tomorrow too for a scan and I’m just ignoring the texts now and feeling over it too. I have faith if baby doesn’t come I will be induced and I’m not even mad about it I just want to meet my baby

Due dates are only an estimate! I get noone wants to be pregnant for 42 weeks but your due date could be off by 2 weeks in either direction. Hopefully you can have the birth you want!

Babies just choose when they want to come out. When my mom was pregnant with me, she was due on the 24th of March and I came out on April 8th. You may want to go in the get checked to see if your water is leaking at all. I went in on the 26th because I thought my water broke the night before and they checked and it did. We induced that day to avoid infection risk.

You have to remember that the due date is just an estimated date that they could be off by weeks… ultrasounds are not accurate. You could be less weeks than they say and that’s why baby not ready yet. Don’t beat yourself up too much baby wil lol come as long as you are at no risk and feeling good you should be fine. Don’t open those messages from
People try to ignore it.. if you are healthy and feeling good don’t let them pressure you into an induction or c section… only if that’s something that you want

I was due 3/22. trust your baby and trust your body. home births are absolutely wonderful. turn off your phone/social media and surrender. you WILL have your baby this month and it will be perfect! the unknown is scary and being pregnant is hard but you are almost there mama 🩷 - second home birth and now 10 days “late” 🫶🏼

You are still only 41 weeks, that's only 7 days 'overdue'. Baby has plenty of time. My son was 10 days overdue (2nd baby) and I had my at home water birth as planned (not that the hospital was happy about it but hey!). I tried everything, was getting regular contractions for a week before, my midwife told me to stop trying and just relax, I laid on the sofa watching crappy movies on the Monday and Tuesday and went into labour on the wed morning x

Well I’m getting induced tonight at 41 weeks. They didn’t love my blood pressure at my appointment today. Wishing everyone luck as we get to the finish line and meet our babes!

My due date was March 12th had mine the 6th through elective c-section but when I was in the hospital getting set up for the c-section my water breaks I was still only 1 cm and didn't want to labor what would be all day and may or maynot need a c-section in the end. I thought I was doing things wrong also but every pregnancy is different.

I was due on the 18th March and am still pregnant 😵💫 baby and placenta healthy and working, I’m booked in for an elective c section on weds. Was planning on a home birth after cesarean x

Same thing happened to me I got a membrane sweep at 40 wks 4days and the next day I ended up giving birth. Nothing else really helped me. I literally tried everything it definitely is frustrating. Wishing you luck and I hope you get to meet your little one soon.

I gave birth at 41+3 with cervical ripening because I couldn’t wait any longer so I get it girly, but your body is not failing you, I promise! It’s so easy to feel like your body isn’t doing what it needs to, I felt the exact same way, my last week between 40-41 I cried a lot and started to feel a little depressed.. I remember saying to my mom and bf that I felt like I was failing already as a mom because my body wasn’t doing what it should. And then let me tell you how my body got this baby out in the most efficient way, I couldn’t believe it, and now I feel soooo proud! It will happen how and when it’s supposed to but try to give yourself some grace right now mama!

I completely understand how you feel, currently 42+2 and it can feel so frustrating to wake up everyday and still be this far pregnant along with all the external pressure of being induced and people giving their opinions. I’m planning a home water birth and have a supportive mid wife team but giving myself until Saturday to birth naturally and if not I’ll give some medical assistance as hard as that is for me to do as it goes against what I truly want I think 43 weeks is enough time for me to wait mentally and physically. Hope our babies come soon 🤞🏼 and always remember there’s never been a baby that hasn’t been born ✨💗

Hi , what was your experience waiting until 43 weeks? I’m currently 41+5 and believe in my body to push a few more days with the pregnancy before agreeing to induction!
