So basically my baby daddy and I have a relationship that’s very uncanny unto how we feel about each other. I think our chemistry was bonded out of feeling vulnerable yet I didn’t know my vulnerability and actions at the time we met were wrong unto him. now that we both know eachother more it’s not like there’s any less love it’s just that now I feel I could never really make him feel understood or understand how I feel. yesterday he said we have like nothing in common and sometimes I wonder if like all my actions that caused him hurt would just make him hate me. keep in mind he’s not abusive he’s supportive in other areas especially with being a new dad he’s been very good and it’s just sometimes I feel like I let him down because I’m trying to change for the better and sometimes I just feel I’m not enough for him. so should I let him go cause I feel it’s almost not fair to put him through anything but I don’t want to have to co-parent if nothing is technically wrong and things between us are just misunderstood i know this all seems vague too and I really am trying my best to not put our problems out there but I also don’t really have anyone to talk to especially without fearing it’ll make him upset that I vented about him or exposed him like I personally feel like I’m struggling to love him properly because I never really had anyone show me and it’s not like he’s my first relationship it’s just the fact that he’s the first healthy relationship I’ve ever had like I really thought he was my person but to hear the opposite from him of me thinking we have a little in common I just don’t think I hear enough of what I bring to the table despite if unto him we have nothing in common and that’s not a concern for him in a relationship ya know. I don’t want to self sabotage something good for myself ya know and then it’s like I really do love him so I guess I just need advice. Thanks please be gentle in the comments I’m sensitive yall.

Could you guys couples counseling?
I would think make time for activities you both really like together.
Start dating each other again.

I usually don’t agree or believe in counseling at all however, I completely agree with Nat ^^ on this one

My husband and I don't have alot in common either. We also both had just gotten out of the worst of relationships and bonded of it. It's ok not to have everything in common some people don't realize even the little thing they have in common. No don't leave him just because of those reasons I have those exact same reasons and thoughts at times too it does help to talk about these feelings and also make a list of what yall do have in common.
