Baby kicks/movements

My husband is a little sad that our son stops moving or barely moves when he touches my belly .. what can i do or say to assure him it’s not him personally. I feel so bad because he is convinced our baby boy doesn’t like him already .

My son does this too my partner is understanding but I get sad tbh he’s so active with my hand but not my partner. Just tell him his hands are too comforting it relaxes the baby lmao idk

I can relate! My son stops moving when my boyfriend touches my stomach or tries to talk to him. Not sure why though. It doesn’t upset him too much but he feels left out sometimes which makes me feel terrible.

Sometimes what I do is I’ll play music on my stomach to get baby moving, or I’ll press around, and I’ll just guide his hands where our son is moving.

My baby does this aswell. A lot of people I know have said the same thing.
As baby gets bigger and moves more my partner has been able to feel more often.
I think it might be something to do with the temp change cause if I lift my top up or something like that baby also stops.

I take my husband's hand and quietly put it where the kicking is. I find as soon as I try to talk to get his attention the deer in headlights. Sometimes it helps. Definitely got easier as they grew and had less room to not be felt and very visible.

My baby does this too when anyone touches me not just my fiancé. And also stops when I lift my top up so I think as mentioned above it could be the temp change or even the change in pressure/ weight of my fiancé’s hand x

The farther you get in pregnancy the more your baby will start moving. My daughter did this too during second trimester/Beginning of 3rd where she would stop moving anytime My husband touched my belly. Now she constantly moves and has pushed against him when he would just have his arm laying on my belly 😅 she's feisty but eventually your husband will be able to feel him move more as he gets more active the farther along you get 😊

that happens to us all the time too!! he shouldn’t take it personally

I told him that the baby senses me, and since I am always calmer around him, the baby is calmer around him too. That he is the strong peace and comfort. He felt purpose after that.
Then in the third trimester there was so much baby activity, there was no calming anyone down haha. He got to feel every kick and usually see them too!

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)
Thank you in advance! 🥰

Anyone else felt like this?

Hi, I’m 4 months postpartum, little one sleeps through the night and is formula fed, the last week I’ve felt extremely tired and very hungry! Just wondered if anyone else has felt this way/experienced this?

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
